President's Day 2011

On President's Day some of the fam went on a bike ride. We took off for Rutland Park to pick up the bike trail...





















And ended up at Pepsi Park. It was a beautiful day, perfect for a bike ride.

After eating our sack lunches the kids played in the sand where the playground equipment use to be - can't believe they removed the equipment and charge a fee to enter!

They even did some tree climbing

Here Kira and Claire are just enjoying the sunshine.

It was a great day!!

Crazy Driver Grandpa

Since Eric and Laura were busy having a baby, Larry and I were able to have Brandon and Andrew stay with us. Here is Larry giving the boys a wild ride! Fortunately no one was hurt, even Lucy thought it was fun - maybe when she gets bigger Grandpa will give her a ride.

Newest Grandbabies

Well, the latest news - two more granddaughters!!!
Claire arrived on Friday June 11th. She is the sister of Collin and the daughter
Ryan and Monica. She is so beautiful - she looks so much like Collin.
Then on June 14th, Kira arrived! She is the sister of Andrew and Brandon.
Kira looks like her daddy! This is a first for our family - more girls than boys!!!

Check this out!!! I flew in a little four-seater plane, can you believe it? It was nice of Bonnie to not show that my eyes were closed for the first 10 minutes of the flight. It was cool but scary.

Lakewood Friends & Disneyland

This summer my friends from when I lived in Lakewood Colorado came to visit! It was so neat to visit and hang out. We went on a bike ride and did two days of Disneyland. Vicki lives in Cedar City, Cindy lives in Littleton and Polly lives in Hemet. I'm glad we've stayed friends for all these years.

Granddaughters

We welcome Ryan Taylor and Lucy Jo to our family.

Newest Additions

Well, they both are finally here! We have two new grandchildren and they are both girls!!!
Adam and Jamie found themselves with an emergency c-section on July 20th to bring Ryan Taylor into the world at a whopping 8 lbs 10 oz. She is beautiful and has blonde hair and a cute little nose. She looks like her dad with round cheeks.
Valerie and Chris' little girl finally came August 14th - Lucy Jo weighing in at 5 lbs 12 oz. She stayed for a few days in the NICU but is now home and Grandma Emily has been enjoying her before she heads home to Colorado.
We are so blessed to have these healthy girls join our family. We need to get a new family picture!!!
